The official registers only show the current state of a licence - the history of how it got there is overwritten daily. This is our running log of observed transitions: new authorisations, status flips and withdrawals, recorded by cross-checking the FCA and EBA registers every day since 10 August 2026.

Frequently asked questions
- Where does this data come from?
- Every day this site re-imports the FCA register and the EBA EUCLID register and diffs each institution against the previous day's record. Any change to operational status, licence type, licence reference or withdrawal date is logged here with the date we observed it.
- Why can't I find this on the official registers?
- The FCA and EBA registers publish only the current state of each licence - not a history of transitions. When a licence is withdrawn, the old record is simply overwritten. This log exists because we snapshot the registers daily and record the differences; observations run since 10 August 2026.
- How often do EMI licences actually get withdrawn?
- Rarely enough that each one is news: the FCA revoked a single EMI licence in all of 2025. Status flips and withdrawal-date corrections are more common - the register is a living document and this page shows exactly how it moves.
